LOW-WATER PRESSURE TREATMENT FOR ENGINEERED WOOD, GLULAM, & CLT
Tru-Core WBAP brings 3 fungicides and 1 insecticide together with Tru-Core penetrating technology for a water-based pressure treatment option for wood products. Tru-Core WBAP is a low-water process due to the patented Tru-Core penetrating technology that exposes EWP, glulam, and cross-laminated timber to less water for less time, preserving dimensional stability without sacrificing penetration and protection. Less water also means that Tru-Core WBAP requires less drying time after treatment.
Regulatory Information
Propiconazole, tebuconazole, imidacloprid, and permethrin combined with patented buffered amine oxide technology to enhance penetration of preservatives into wood products. Full Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support and training is part of the included service. Safe chemical handling practices recommended.

Field tests of Tru-Core WBAP treated products have sustained prolonged exposure in severe climate test sites in Hawaii. Strength and dimensional stability data validate no loss of structural integrity from Tru-Core WBAP treatment. Supported an acceptable treatment system by ICC-ESR 3834.
