Penetrator™

ENHANCED PENETRATION OF SOLID TIMBERS AND RAILROAD TIES
Penetrator is an enhancement for boron treatment of large solid wood timbers. Boron is a general biocide which is commonly used and specified for timber treatment where insect control is a primary concern. KCPP Penetrator has been used widely in the railroad treating industry to pre-treat ties with boron by penetrating deeper into the tie for interior protection to complement envelope treatment by creosote or copper naphthenate. Penetrator is also a good general Pressure Vacuum enhancement additive to increase penetration and efficiency of the PV treatment cycle time and energy usage.
Regulatory Information
Full Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support and training is part of the included service. Safe chemical handling practices recommended.
Features & Benefits
- Additive to enhance penetration of traditional pressure vacuum treatments
- US based manufacturing
- Supported equipment and engineering services available
product use
Penetrator is made to be combined with boron or other treatments to improve treatment efficiency through less pressure and shorter cycle times, while improving penetration of actives into wood. Penetrator as a standalone is not a treatment.
