SAPSTAIN AND FUNGAL PROTECTION
Workhorse® is a fifth-generation product used to control sapstain, mold, and fungal infection that can cause decay in manufactured wood. Workhorse incorporates amine oxide technology combined with active ingredients and surfactants to enhance the performance of organism-fighting biocides. The advances in the Workhorse formula typically allow for 20% less chemical usage to achieve results equal to or better than other competitive products. Treatment systems are customizable for durations from 30 days to 6 months.
Regulatory information
Workhorse combines 3-Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered fungicides and proprietary chemical technology. EPA registration info available upon request. Full Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support and training is part of included service. Safe chemical handling practices are recommended.

product use
Workhorse is designed to be applied via dip tanks, linear or transverse spray boxes, or flood coaters. Workhorse is compatible with any of Kop-Coat’s additives to address extreme climates, bug infection potential or extended protection needs. Workhorse treatment systems currently protect solid hardwood and softwood lumber, fence pickets, posts, poles, and wood prior to pressure treating, and KD wood susceptible to moisture exposure.
