LUMBER BRIGHTENER
Iron FixT is a combination of chelators that capture metal ions and separate them away from wood, leaving a bright, natural, unblemished appearance to manufactured lumber. In addition, the chelators in Iron FixT also lessen oxidation effects and prevent graying and weathering that can appear on the surface of wood during air drying.
RegulatorY information
Iron FixT is a combination of phosphonic acid and phosphonate, HEDP, BHMT, and water. Full Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support and training is part of the included service. Safe chemical handling practices are recommended.

product use
Iron FixT can be used as a stand-alone treatment, but is more often incorporated into a treatment system along with fungal and sapstain protection. Iron FixT is blendable with all KopCoat lumber treatments and additives, allowing it to be applied by dip, spray, or flood treatment. Iron FixT works on both hardwoods and softwoods.
